Where to Stay in Pattaya Thailand

Pattaya Thailand is located on the southern coast of Thailand. Just a few hours away from Bangkok by taxi and it is as easily accessible by taxi from Suvarnabhumi airport. The taxi drivers will charge you a flat fee of 1500THB to 2000THB which is roughly $45US to $60US. If you can speak a little bit of Thai than you will have a good chance of bargaining the price down. Taxis can be found at the airport or just flag one down in Bangkok.

There are many reasons why someone would vacation in Pattaya though most stay there as a weekend side trip from the main tourist city of Bangkok . But the main reason why hordes of visitors come to Pattaya is to witness and partake in the raucous nightlife that presents itself like a buffet to ravenous survivors on a deserted island. And there are other reasons to visit Pattaya such as for the close proximity to Pattaya's beaches. Though Pattaya officials are trying to clean up the pollution on their beaches I highly suggest that you take a tour to the outer islands like Ko Lan. Ko Lan is a 45 minute boat ride away and the island is a paradise for swimmers as Pattaya's main beaches might not have ideal conditions suited for snorkeling and scuba diving. But it will certainly do just fine for a bit of splashing around and water sports.

The most popular question asked is when is the best time to visit Pattaya. October to February is ideal because the heat and humidity is bearable. But this also means that you will be paying more for accommodations as those months  fall within the high season. So book ahead to get the rooms you want. During the low season you will experience heat and humidity that will certainly make your holiday uncomfortable. Rain will happen in Thailand regardless of the season, but the showers do not last too long.

You will know when you have arrived in the city of Pattaya when you see streets lined with go-go bars, snooker clubs, bars, pubs and clubs. You will certainly know you're there when women pull you this way and that way towards the establishments they work in.  It is a sight that you can't miss especially when the neon lights illuminate the sky and the scantily clad women light up the streets. This is certainly no place for kids but it is not an uncommon sight to see Thai children with their parents walking hand in hand gawking at all the tourist. However you will see often western families wandering around the red light districts with parents covering their children's eyes.

The great thing about Pattaya's assortment of accommodation is that you can be decently far away from all the nightlife scenes or you can be exactly right in the middle of all the action. And what ever budget you can afford, there is no doubt you will find an accommodation that is suited to your pocket book and life style. The general rule of thumb is the more secluded the accommodation is the more expensive the rates will be. There are two main stretch of beaches in Pattaya.  Pattaya Bay which is the largest and most crowded and Jomtien Beach which offers a little bit of seclusion. So keep this in mind when you choose a hotel in Pattaya whether or not you want to deal with the noise or over crowding.

Now, if you are going to Pattaya only to enjoy and experience the nightlife, then you should stay anywhere near or adjacent to Walking Street. You cannot miss this street because this is the major tourist attraction hub. This seedy street is filled with plenty of  outdoor bars, indoor bars, beer bars with Muay Thai matches, disco clubs and a smattering of massage parlors catering to men. Whatever your intentions are of visiting Pattaya you will surely find it on Walking Street. One word of warning though, Walking street can be too noisy and if you don't mind being harassed by Thai transsexuals called lady-boys or drunken tourist then you might want to book your accommodations just a little bit away from there as it can get quite rowdy.

Are you into water sports but don't want to pay big bucks to stay in all inclusive resorts? Kayaks and Jet Skis can be rented on the beach for a very decent price. You can even get an affordable body massage on the beach just a few feet away from the rolling waves. The great thing about vacationing in Pattaya and Thailand overall is that a small budget can go a long way. Beer and food can be had at a very cheap price thanks to the favorable exchange rates.

Pattaya started out as a little fishing village and today it is ending up as a major tourist destination with big name hotels that are standing should to shoulder with mom and pop operations. Rumors of corporate big wigs are trying to move in to spruce up the value of Pattaya. But they will never succeed. Pattaya will always remain one of the best places to party and its unique essence and charm can never be changed.

Chiang Mai - The second largest city in Thailand with an estimated population of more than 200,000. This city located in the northern part of the country offers greener and quieter city. Chiang Mai's tourism is becoming more and more popular and permanently settling at this city is very common. When you travel Thailand and visit Chiang Mai, you surely would want to see museums such as Hilltribe Research Institute Museum and the Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Center. With religion and history enriching the city, you can see several Buddhist temples such as Wat Chiang Mun, Wat Chiang Mun, Wat Phra Singh, Wat Oo-Mong, Wat Phra Jao Mengrai, Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, and Wat Chedi Luang. The oldest temple dates back in the 11th century. Travel Cheap to Thailand

Thailand is for many people one of the favorite destinations. And the reasons are pretty much obvious. Even if tourism has really grown during the recent years, Thailand still offers some pretty much unspoiled territories, precious beaches and an amazing cultural shock that you will probably prefer to miss your plane back home rather than coming back to your everyday's life. But to travel cheap to Thailand you really need to find out the right places or you will be abused as most tourists are.

Travel deals when it comes to flying there are many, as competence for Thailand is very high and in this case travel agencies are strongly fighting one with each other. This, in the end, lets us find some very good deals. The idea of the article is in a general way to encourage you to always look for this special offers in order to travel cheap to Thailand and to anywhere in the world, to never limit yourself to what you see on your first searches, but furthermore, and being aware that this is a limited time offer, I wanted to share with you for free one of my findings early this morning.

This offer is specially good for all Europeans, as departures are from London, and as I never get tired to say, you can reach London for 20 Euros the round trip with everything included with Ryanair. From there, with flights included and 14 nights in hotels in Thailand, you will get it for the price of 585 UK Pounds (813 Euros) I could kill myself for promoting offers like this for free, as I have no relationship with any travel agency at all, but certainly I am convinced that everybody should have the goal to help people, so here we are.

The way you can book in this case is not online, but online you will find a web-page that offers you the possibility to travel cheap to Thailand and a number in the UK that you can call to get more information. I haven't tried, but I imagine that you will be able to make the booking by telephone.

Together the possibility to travel cheap to Thailand, this guys have other interesting things specially related with traveling to Asia, but also many other offers to other regions, as flights to Auckland for 934 Euros, which is by far the best offer I have ever seen in the market from Europe to New Zealand. Also you can find 21 days campervan plus the flights to Auckland for just 1152 Euros. Again, is the best offer I have ever seen to get to the region. All this offers are generally valid until the 15th of June 2008, but if you wait for the beginning of January, the new offers for the summer and the first September discounted vacations will begin to appear.

They are also offering many possibilities to discover Africa, including some Safari packages, for relatively low prices. Africa is not my area of expertise, so I won't promise they have the cheapest option, but the numbers look pretty good compared to what I have seen up till now.

In any case, just feel free to take a look at their page and you will find out which offer adapts best to your needs if you are planning to travel Asia, Africa or the South Pacific from Europe.

Some cities, such as the northern capital Bangkok, are known as party cities while others are more laid back and less crowded. Keep traffic and activities in mind when you book your stay. Some cities offers malls selling jeans while others have road side stands with handmade goods.

December is a hot time for travelers pouring in Thailand. Book your hotel outside of December to save money and miss some of the crowds at tourist attractions. Hotels also offer cheap rates in off seasons.

Many amenities are offered in the larger hotels; internet, on site workout area, and spas. While most hotel thailand accommodation booking websites are international, some are dedicated solely to local hotels. Both choices appeal to users in different ways: international websites are good for those with vague ideas about their destinations or those who want to keep returning to the same service provider in every trip, but local websites seem to know best about their destinations. For example, first-time Travelers in Asia might prefer to offer international websites for which, as seasoned travelers, Thailand came before may want to look deeply Bangkok Old City.

Wat Phra Si Mahathat of Thailand

The province of Phitsanulok, Thailand is located on the banks of the Nan River in the north of the bottom. The province is located about 377 kilometers from Bangkok. The province is mostly flat with mountain ranges to the east, the green house, national parks and waterfalls.

Phitsanulok was a major city during the rule of the Khmer and deserves a lot of wealth during times of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya. Between 1463 and1487, King Borom Trailokanat of Ayutthaya used to permanently live in the province, thus making it another royal capital.

Today Phitsanulok is a major tourist attraction that draws people not just from Thailand but also from around the world. People come to see the many tourist sites including the Wat Phra Si Mahathat.

The locals call Wat Phra Si Mahathat Wat Yai and it is situated on the east bank of Nan River within the limits of Phitsanulok town, the provincial capital. It is believed that the viharn of the temple is home to one of the most beautiful and elegant Buddha images in Thailand. The Buddha image is made from bronze in the Sukhothai style of architecture. It is officially known as Phra Phutthachinarat. Owing to its large size, many foreign and local visitors come to the temple daily to admire and pay respect to the image. Every year in late January, a celebration is held in the temple to honor Phra Phutthachinarat.

Another attractive aspect of the temple is its large pearl inlaid doors, which are at the entrance of viharn. It is believed that doors were crafted in the late Ayutthaya period around 1756. The temple also houses another image known as Phra Attharot, which is an 8-meter tall standing image of Buddha. Originally the Phra Phutthachinarat was housed in a large viharn but the roof is no longer there. So, the bronze image now stands in open air surrounded by large columns of the collapsed viharn.

Tat Hueang Waterfall of Thailand

Loei is around 520 kilometers from Bangkok offering some of the most spectacular spots for tourists to enjoy. Although the province is located in the northeast, it has many things common with the northern region of Thailand, including its high hills and mountains which are home to many waterfalls. One such waterfall that is worth visiting in Loei is Tat Hueang Waterfall.

Tat Hueang Waterfall, also known as Thai-Lao Waterfall, is fed by Hueang River and this means that you can see it right around the year. The Hueang River marks the boundary between Thailand and its neighbor, Laos, and the waterfall is jointly owned by the two countries. In fact, Tat Hueang Waterfall marks the border between Thailand and Laos.

The waterfall is definitely breathtaking and impressive. It plunges 30 meters down and is approximately 40 meters wide. It is set amid thick verdant forest so getting there can take a little effort but you will find that the time and effort it takes to get to the waterfall is definitely worth it. The view and noise of the water pounding to the lower realms is truly amazing and incredible.

In order to get to Tat Hueang Waterfall, you need to travel around 7 kilometers on the Na Haeo-Rom Klao Road and then another 10 kilometers on the way to Bo Mueang Noi

Once you reach the waterfall, there are things that will keep you busy. You can decide whether you want to trek, sit down and relax, have a picnic or go for a delightful and fun-filled swim.

Exotic and Oriental Vacation Spot For Tourism in Thailand - Bangkok

Bangkok is a city of diversity and also is an amazing city for people who come to visit this capital of Thailand. There the modern and sophisticated office buildings, Star hotels and malls those are scattered all across the city of Bangkok, there are about 400 heritage cultural temples in this beautiful city. These temples to some may seem to be a little out of place in a modern and fully developed city like Bangkok, which is pretty contrasting in style with the modernity of urban life seen in most western countries, but they are so amazingly lovely that you keep looking at them in awe. Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand has been an ideal choice as a vacation spot, especially for foreigners since many decades.

When you are walking on the streets and footpaths of Bangkok, you will see local citizens dressed up in modern business attires that you see in most of the western world, you will also come across the Buddhist monks wearing traditional saffron colored robes as well. Such cultural diversity is what makes Bangkok, the capital of Thailand so different. It has become an ideal vacation spot for people from across the world because of its blend of tradition, modernity and cultural diversity.

As is the case with other big cities in Asia, Bangkok too is congested with traffic and people everywhere because of the huge population density. The sultry and hot tropical weather keeps most of Thailand at an average temperature of around 28 degrees Celsius annually which is around 83 degrees Fahrenheit, and in the summers ,the high humidity levels can make you feel more warmer. During the monsoons, the weather is still warm, but heavy rains can bring down the temperature.

The local people are well aware of the importance of foreign tourists and they cleverly try to hustle and convince the foreign tourists for taking their package tour when they are on a business visit. The local people are very warm and courteous and you'll find that many of the people in Thailand are very polite and are good in behavior.

The charges for taxis a bit high wherever you want to go, be it to the temple of the Golden Buddha, The Reclining Buddha or to have some experience of nightlife that has made Bangkok a favorite vacation spot for tourists who visit Thailand. In fact there are many tourists who visit Bangkok to indulge in the sexual services like massages offered by stunningly beautiful young women providing relaxation therapy to their clients for a price. In fact Bangkok is known as the sex capital of the world which once again made this city a much sought after vacation spot for the tourists.

Bangkok is worth exploring for a week or so, after which you can travel to some of the other beautiful vacation spots in Thailand like the Pattaya beach which is approximately a two hour drive from the airport area and then to Phuket, which is also famous for its golden beaches and ancient temples. Bangkok, being the capital of Thailand also offers excellent air connectivity to a majority of the other Asian destinations, which makes this city a great vacation spot in a central location.

E 'are 1.5 and 10 Satang coins that occasionally run in along with coins of 25 and 50 Satang but usually you only get this change in a supermarket, chain stores, or sometimes a Seven Eleven. Most of the pretty village Deal Baht denominations. If you take a lot Satang you will probably find some to take home as souvenirs.

All the Thai currency, the image of the king on it. E 'considered disrespectful to the Thai money in your pocket when you maintainthe King sat. Similarly, if you drop a note or a coin not step on it to stop, as this is very disrespectful.

Never exchange money at home before leaving for Thailand exchange rates will be as bad as your country of origin. There are many places in Thailand in exchange for currency exchange almost every bank on every corner in the tourist areas and their branches. Hotels and money changers at the airport usually record as poorgood thing, stick to the banks for the best price. Although it is a good idea to have a small amount of exchange at the airport upon arrival is the only way to get money wherever you go.

Given the volatility of the Thai baht in recent years have more than one) has developed an offshore market price of a share exchange and being a creature on earth (in Thailand. Be careful with computer gear as XE rate as to give and make as many other offshoregood. Check the daily rates for banks Thai online:

Siam Bank

Kasikorn Bank

Bangkok Bank

ATMs are everywhere in tourist areas and provide country-rate as well, but make a backup of your rights and banks baht currency conversions from your currency because most of these fees, rates drop significantly, especially since the Most banks will convert the currency at the rate of offshore. If you live in the United Kingdom to open a Nationwide Flex Accountand if you live in America, you open an ING Orange account control of two banks do not charge fees for withdrawals, or convert your currency at the rate of offshore.

Traveller's checks are always the best option. Even if you make a tax rate that you pay is always a better exchange rate on them. You also have the added protection in case of loss or theft they will be replaced within 24 hours. Remember, you must show your passport, travelers changingControls.

Cash, as they say is always right, but if you do not bring only large bills, then the speed varies depending on the denomination and costs only slightly better than traveler's checks. In a large sum of money everywhere these days is a bad idea and not worth the risk. A hundred dollar bills in 1996, marked usually are not accepted the fact forged strong this year by North Korea.

The best thing is a mix of travelers checks and credit cards to haveAre covered in all cases.

Note: your credit card at an ATM is generally very safe, but do not use them in stores or shops to buy goods because of credit card fraud continues to be widespread in Thailand. Using only time that I have other uses ATM as a hotel, but I felt comfortable with the owners / management in front of me.

The best time to travel to Thailand

Probably the most common question any foreigner living in Thailand, United do people who visit the plan is "When is the best time to come to Thailand" ... have a simple answer without knowing "why" a person wants to Thailand.

There are basically three seasons in Thailand (although late in the cold season seems to go missing), the seasons, heat, cold and wet. Chill a rather subjective description However, the coups covered emergency in the northern provinces when it comes to a cool 10 degrees ... it drops 10 degrees. So, what to offer in every season.

The heat

March-June: The hottest month is April, when even the geckos stay inside and most expats decide to flights outside for lunch and not eat rather than melt on the road of a stall. The hot season is beach season, if it is your passion, this is the time to come,Thailand, guaranteed sun sun sun all day every day. For hikers, there might be a bit 'too hot to go trudging up the hill, unless mounted on an elephant from sunstroke and dehydration are high up the list of things to strive for. Bangkok turns into a pollution tax cast as the winds die and the smog hangs just behind the choke oxygen. Hotels are at their most expensive in the hot season and weekends in full view of many, those in the medium-rangeposted.

The Wet

From July to November: The transition from hot to wet is the worst time in Thailand, no matter in what you are. It's hot, it is moist and the humidity is ruthless. They are desperate to take three showers a day at least ... life in a shower for a month to plan maybe is not bad. If you can imagine living in a sauna for a month, then you get the right picture of Thailand at the beginning of the rainy season ... if you are in Bangkok, then in a sauna and an exhaust pipe in the car sauna is the right idea ... to get yummy hmmm. Then thankfully the skies really opened, the wind blows and brush up on things. The rain is almost a guaranteed feature on a daily basis and usually begins in the afternoon, sometimes lasting all night floods are common with power outages. So why ... come to Thailand now .... the cost of hotels are empty, tourists are gone, it's a great time to see less with ThailandThe tourists than usual and the best value and the Thai people to stay home on weekends.

The cold

December to February: Thailand freezes, the snow falls from the sky and ice skating is the most popular sport of the nations of ... well if you watch TV or go to the Thai people around the gloves in winter jackets, boots and scarves can begin to think that's true .. in Bangkok it can drop to a cool 15 degrees Celsius bone in the night, and northhas repeatedly dropped down to 2 degrees, south is the much easier and you can do to escape with a body warmer and a bobble hat. Thailand is once again full of tourists who come to take advantage of cool weather to see Thailand without burning. This is the best time to "see" Thailand, enjoy the sights and visit the cities and trekking to see the best of its. Moreover, the prices are fair and Hotelscomplete.

in a nutshell the best time for Thailand to come So when your clothes, do whatever you want, hikers and Tanners will have different neighborhood, the research needs of different occasions. Just add that from time to time fell into the hottest time of the year and the rainy season ..... for a week or more, but leave your skis at home ... there is no snow to dry .. ... guaranteed.
